Recent Investments

Spanish car company Seat has invested 10 million euros in the past two years to build Volkswagen's first prototype center and make improvements at its facilities. According to the company, the invesment will allow important cost savings and a reduction of the time to design and launch new models.

The prototype center, which is to have 16,850 square meters, will become a core part of the company and will be inaugurated next October. 300 engineers from the Seat's technical center are to work in the new facilities.
