Absinthe Distillery invests into the Spanish MarketEsmeralda Liquors, S.L. will launch Spain's first mass produced premium absinthe to the Spanish market in 70 years. The company houses a 1.300 square meter production floor, on site offices and an offsite storage facility space in Lleida, in the Catalonia region. The majority of raw materials are directly sourced in Catalonia, where there is a rich absinthe history. The signature product, Obsello Absinthe is poised to be a world leader in absinthe production.
Catalonia Investment Agency, an agency of the Ministry of Innovation, Universities and Enterprise of the Government of Catalonia, has largely played a role in selecting this particular region and has helped with finding professionals, navigating through the Spanish legal system and welcoming the investment.
