Recent Investments

American multinational company Kraft Foods is to set up in Barcelona its biscuits subsidiary for the Iberian market. Kraft acquired Danone's biscuits business last year in an operation valued at 5.3 billion euros.

Brands now owned by Kraft include Lu and Prince, two leading names in the Spanish and Portuguese markets. Kraft is among the ten most important food groups in Spain, with two independent subsidiaries employing about 2,000 workers.
