Barcelona's International Exhibition of Logistics and Maintenance (SIL) has established itself as the industry benchmark for Southern Europe. SIL celebrates this year its 10th anniversary, with a new edition to be held in early June (from the 3rd through the 6th) at Fira's Gran Via facilities.

According to Enrique Lacalle, responsible for Barcelona's SIL, the meeting has maintained its dynamism and growth as evidenced by 2007 figures. Last year, SIL received more than 1,000 exhibitors from 66 countries and a total of 48,000 visitors. The SIL is the only trade show that brings together all participants within the logistics sector. Throughout the years, SIL has also established itself as a bridge between Europe and Latin America and other areas such as Africa and the Mediterranean countries, Lacalle concluded.
