Barcelona's Scientific Park (PCB) expects to see 10 new technology-based start-up companies in the next two years, as part of a second generation of businesses "born" in its facilities.

The PCB promotes and helps in the development of technology companies and provides them with a scientific and technological infrastructure as well as expertise in business management. Neuroscience Technologies, a start-up specialized in biotechnology, is one of the PCB's success stories. The company moved to the PCB a few years ago and it now carries out research in the field of neuropathic pain.
