Relevant Events

Catalan exports of goods grew by 2.19% during the first half of 2008 to 25.7 billion euros, representing 26.37% of the Spanish exporting activity. The Catalan region's contribution is equivalent to 0.60 points of total growth in the export sector in Spain. Catalan imports also posted a year on year increase of 1.61% to 40.12 billion euros, representing 26.93% of total imports in Spain.
