Siemens announces investments of 210 million euros in CataloniaGerman multinational company Siemens plans to invest 210 million euros in Catalonia over the next three years, Spain chief executive officer Francisco Belil confirmed.
The company has chosen Barcelona to set up the headquarters of its new diagnostic unit for Southwestern Europe, strengthening its position as a leading center for research, development and innovation projects in this field.
Siemens has already signed cooperation agreements with local institutions such as the Hospital Clinic of Barcelona where it has already installed a robotic analysis machine, the largest of its kind in Europe.
