Recent Investments

Consumer product conglomerate AC Marca has invested 40 million euros in a new industrial complex in Sant Llorenç d'Hortons (Alt Penedès). The new plant has two production centers (one for detergents and household products and a second for hygiene and personal care), a logistics department, and a center for R & D activities. AC Mark's leading brands include detergent Norit, Gior and Aftersun.

The new facilities, which will offer 60,000 square meters and a work force of 140, will allow the company to increase capacity by 50%, to 250,000 units a day. AC Marca posted revenue of 168 million euros. The president of the Catalan Government, José Montilla, is expected to attend the new plant's inauguration later this week.
