Danone to open a store to increase brand awarenessFood multinational company Danone is to open a store in Barcelona to boost brand awareness and reach out to their customers. The new showroom will be in Barcelona's Diagonal Avenue and will focus on the benefits of Danone's products.
The company aims to present its leading brands and provide information on nutrition and health, two of the company's key messages in recent years. This new strategy has been responsible for the success of products such as Actimel, Danacol and Activia.
In 2007, Danone's Spanish subsidiary posted revenue of 1.26 billion euros, up 8% over the previous year.
