Recent Investments

IDIADA, a unit of Catalan company Applus+, has opened two new facilities to boost its activity at its Spanish Technical Center. The company boasts now a new anechoic chamber to determine noise level of vehicles, and a new wet handling track to assess the dynamic performance of vehicles on wet surfaces. The new wet handling track increases to 12 the company's testing facilities, consolidating Applus+ as the most comprehensive center in Europe. The new track has been designed by IDIADA with the special participation of the department of dynamics and manufacturers of components and tires. The inauguration was attended by Catalan president Jose Montilla.
