Recent Investments

Beer brewing group Damm is to invest 8.3 million Euros to update the facilities at its Bell-lloc d'Urgell plant in the Catalan province of Lleida. The investments will allow a 20% increase in malt production to 72,000 tons, to be materialized during the fourth quarter.

As part of the reforms, Damm is creating a new area for grain germination and drying and another facility to store malt. In 2008, Damm posted a profit of 51.3 million Euros, with sales of 754.9 million Euros, up 4.6%.
