Spanish fashion group Desigual has opened a new logistics center in Gavà (Barcelona) to materialize its international expansion. The new facilities will connect 4,500 distribution points in 65 countries and will manage over 9 million clothing items.
Desigual's general manager Manel Adell said that the company is also to invest 30 million Euros during 2009 to open 50 shops. The company expects to finish 2009 with revenue of 251 million Euros and plans to double that figure over the next two years. Mr. Adell also indicated that more than half of the revenue (57%) comes from abroad.
Desigual has 118 stores offering clothing for women, men and children.
