The Future of Energy Efficiency
The steadily growing world population and demand for Western living standards in developing countries will lead to a further increase in energy requirements of around 1.3% annually until 2030.
By 2030, renewably sources of energy will still provide only a small proportion of total energy requirements. Consequently CO2 emissions will continue to rise. Vigorous efforts must therefore be made to implement strategies that reduce CO2 output. These include:
Energy savings through a change in attitude towards consumption.
The development and use of more energy-efficient products and buildings.
Increasing the degree of efficiency when generating electricity.
The development of cost-efficient regenerative forms of energy.

The Future of Mobile Contactless Services
Considering how mobile technology has developed over the past few decades; it is hardly surprising that most people have a hard time imagining what novelty the future can bring. Yet over time, every great invention travels a road, this requires contribution and participation from a number of individuals and organisations. This is the case with the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology and its adoption by mobile devices.
Near Field Communication is a very short-range wireless communication technology that supports the use of mobile handsets using touch-based interaction. This is an intuitive, user-friendly way of establishing connections and exchanging information between mobile handsets and other devices by just setting them side by side.
